SPR# LBLU73V656 - Error "Unable to access data directory Lotus Notes Data when using Notes Preference" shows when Notes starts. The owner of folder "~/Library/Application Support/Lotus Notes Data" is root but not the current user. It is because Group name of user is change to "staff" on 10.5. This problem has been fixed in 7.0.3.
